The Internet Has a Case of the Mondays

case of the mondays
Everyone should be really nice to each other today. Because, well, we all have a case of the Mondays. While you should definitely never say that out loud, the first Monday after the holiday season could be an exception. Sure, you may have had to show up in between Christmas and New Year’s Day, but did you really have to do anything? And if you took advantage of the your higher-ups cutting you some slack, now you probably have to compensate by really going at it this week. You do.

Luckily, you don’t have to go all Office Space on the company furniture to feel better. You can commiserate on social media instead of working on whatever project you should have already finished by now, because it’s just about time for lunch.

The Monday morning after the holiday break is the most Monday of all Mondays

And so… my Monday return from the holiday begins with a car alarm that wont stop going off. I’m totally allowed to put a bat to it, right?

Welcome to the Monday after the long holiday break, also known as the first day to begin the countdown to spring break 2015.

Very strange being back at work…everyone has holiday brain. #monday #vacationisover

Instead of taking a bat to your car alarm or falling asleep at your desk, we like Man Repeller’s take on the day best of all:

The first Monday back…you deserve hot chocolate. http://t.co/x0lwJp0Ik4

So be nice to your co-workers, your boss, and that guy on the train taking up too much space today. Or just complain about them on Instagram.
